Emotions

Emotions are relatively transitory patterns whose primary function is to infuse energy into our intent and beliefs. In this way, they help propel the realization of our desires into physical reality.

Emotions are ‘tones’, relatively simple patterns with little internal structure. One word is enough to describe most emotions, whereas other patterns such as beliefs may require several paragraphs, and ‘reality’ thoughts may require whole volumes to give some sort of a description.

Emotions are like the color palette that consciousness uses to paint the picture of physical reality. There probably is a very direct link between emotions and colors, sounds, and even tastes and scents.

Emotions resonate with beliefs to create expectations. The intensity of the emotion determines the intensity of the expectation, and the rigidity of the beliefs determines to what extent the expectation conforms with the original intent.
