Our Design Philosophy:

Web Design as Architecture

Designing a website is very much like designing a building.

Large public buildings are much more than four walls and a roof. It is a structure that is used by many people for varying purposes. It is the job of the designer to make the experience of using the building as pleasant and as efficient as possible for everyone. A well-designed building looks good. Visitors find their way around it easily. Office staff is able to do their job efficiently. Cleaning and maintenance staff can keep everything in the building running smoothly with minimal effort.

Users of websites have the same desires, and we have roughly the same types of users as well. The first thing you do when designing a website is find out who your users are and why they will be coming to the site. These are the requirements of your site, and they translate into building blocks. When you're done collecting, you put all the blocks together in such a way that your users can do what they need to do with the least possible number of mouse clicks and the least possible number of eye movements.
